Service for leaking water on the water main. Inspected main water line in basement and found that the section of 1/2 inch copper line stubbing out of a cement block wall before the water meter had a pinhole leak. Customer had temporarily stopped the leak with a piece of rubber hose and clamps. Customer was provided an estimate to properly repair this section of incoming line. Estimate included a pressure reducing valve, a ball valve both before and after the meter, and check valve. Estimate also included the permit fee involved with Town. We will schedule with Town for water shut off at street which is required to perform this repair. Customer accepted the offer for all required work; and will contact office to schedule work.
