Customer was getting heat in den on first floor and was only in that room, pipes were normal temperature upon arrival, went to boiler that has many zones and found the den zone valve jumped out from a previous company causing heat migration through pipes when indirect tank had a call for hot water, unjumped zone valve and had customer run hot water for about 5 minutes didn’t get any heat transfer and pipes didn’t get warm, also turned down water temperature on indirect tank from 140 degrees to 120 degrees. Customer will be calling to have boiler serviced just bought home.
