Service for water hammer in hot water: customer stated that this has been happening since the summer. Found that the hot water heater was put in 2020. Ran water and found pipe to tick and make a minor banging noise. Found that the expansion tank on hotwater heater was working properly. Found that the hot water heater was set to high on thermostat. Set thermostat to hot instead of c on thermostat. Ran water and found that the noises went away. Explained everything to customer and customer is satisfied with service. All working properly at this time.
