Service for main water line leaking: arrived to find that the dual check valve on meter loop was leaking. Found that meter was over four feet away from where the water line comes into home. Also find that every connection to meter was a shark bit fitting. Explained to customer how we could bring it up to our standard at folkes and move meter over to where the water line comes through wall and install proper fittings and meter inline instead of on a meter loop. Explained to customer how this estimate would address leak and also bring it up to code. Customer is going to call town and get back to us. Customer refused to pay diagnostic fee. Customer is satisfied with service.
