Service for broken shut off valve at the kitchen sink. Customer was trying to shut the water off to the ice maker because the new refrigerator was being delivered today and when they tried to turn the valve off it snapped. Remove the old nipple from the threaded elbow in the wall and install a new brass nipple and 3/8†angle stop for the cold water to the sink and ice maker. Customer would also like for us to leave the ice maker line disconnected so when they drop off the refrigerator they can easily hook up the new one. Once we put in the new threaded angle stop, we turned on the water and tested. There is no more leaks and the valve is working great. Cleaned the work area, collected signatures and payment. Job is now complete. The customer is very happy with how quick we came out and were able to replace the valve for a good price.
