The technician arrived on time and was quick to identify the problem. He informed me of the problem and then fixed it. He kept his work area as tidy as possible, and cleaned it up when he was done. His behavior was professional and so was his attire.

My Husband died. You’re probably wondering why I started the survey like this. It’s because this old house of ours like my broken heart was try ing to die too. Since he left, I’ve had to fix and /or replace so many things in the house like the roof; paint the outside, out all the fuses in the electrical box; learn how to pull the filter out and which filter to get for the furnace. Most of all plumbing issues have plagued me. Many things have happened. But when a company came to fix/replace the furnace, he said I needed a plumber because my HOT WATER TANK was leaking. So for days I hail five gallon bucket of water from under the tank until I called and got someone out. Lo and behold, a young Man name Tanner Nelson from Freedom Heating and Cooling came out to my home, surveyed the problem. He explained to me the problem and the out of pocket cost for me. At first, no fault of Tanner, the insurance company tried to charge me more than the original quote from Freedom and the same quote they themselves had that I would have to pay. I didn’t know I had an out of pocket cost so I had to postpone service on Friday. When I called Freedom, and explained what happened, they said that they would talk with Tanner, I guess they talked with the insurance company too to get his professional this situation straightened out. As God would have it, and HE did have it, Tanner came to my home on Wednesday and brought a new tank. My house is old, very old and everything was old and rusted. So Tanner probably had to use muscles that he hadn’t had to use in a while but he got things going. He safely drained my old tank without flooding downstairs. How he lifted that old tank and the new tank is beyond me. They look like they weighed tons. The new tank look bigger than he was, not bigger than his know-how, professionalism nor kindness but bigger than his body. But he rolled it in like a champ. And yes, he broke a sweat. That first new tank although standard was not a standard fit for my old tank area and Tanner had tote that monster tank back and replace it with a tank that would fit. He was something else to watch while he worked. I use to watch and talk with my Husband while he worked and I told Tanner. Tanner kindly said I was not bothering him. This young man even handled the financial collection of payment part and signing of the agreements with me. He drove the drove and did all the lifting all by himself. My Husband and I would call him a nut to bolts kind of stand up kind of guy. He represented Freedom very well. And I will use Freedom service from now on again and again. With honest and kindest regards, Mrs. Cynthia Kellum Crestwood Blvd, Birmingham, Alabama March 1, 2023

This client was searching for a new contractor to do their HVAC service every six months. We performed a thorough inspection of the home and gave our best price for complete maintenance including the ductwork, indoor, and outdoor units. They were impressed by our friendly yet professional service.
We came out on an after-hours service call because the client complained that the AC was blowing hot air and subsequently shutting off. We found several issues with the unit including a tripped circuit breaker, a worn blower belt, and low refrigerant levels. We gave them an estimate for repairs and recommended eventually replacing the air conditioner with a new energy-efficient model. Worn blower belt Low refrigerant levels
The customer had us out to repair the AC unit. It was running all the time and the condenser coil was all frozen up. We checked for a broken thermostat, compressor, or electrical parts. We determined that the temperature was set much too low and needed a break. Increasing the temperature on the thermostat so that the AC can shut off from time to time eliminated the issue.
Air Conditioning Maintenance for a residential homeowner. Upon arrival, we performed a one system maintenance inspection checking cooling. Checked inside units electrical, mechanical and safety components. Checked blower amp draws 4.4/9amps. Checked filter and drain lines. Then checked outdoor units pressures, amp draws and capacitors. All checked out good, noticed that the contactor is pitted and worn down. Recommended replacing contactor. Pressures were 125/275.
This young couple had recently purchased this small home and wanted an estimate for replacing the HVAC and water heater. We gave them several options to meet their needs and budget as well as financing information. They were surprised that the price was not as high as they thought it would be.
HVAC Replacement - Our technician took measurements of the existing system to build quotes for modifying or replacing the existing system. We were happy to answer the customer's questions about financing as well.
The client had us out for an AC repair. We were attempting to replace the outdoor coil sensor but encountered electrical issues determined to be from the compressor being shorted to ground. We scheduled a follow-up appointment to replace the compressor.
We removed the old water heater and installed a new Rheem Professional Classic 50 Gal. Tall 6-Year Warranty Natural Gas Atmospheric Tank Water Heater with Top T and P Valve. This water heater has a 6-year warranty and is designed for long-lasting performance.
A local church had us out to do maintenance on the HVAC system and clean the ductwork. We performed a complete tune-up on the HVAC including filters, electrics, and refrigerants. The ductwork was rather dusty, so we did a complete cleaning and sanitizing. Our clients can breath worry-free with Freedom HVAC.
We were called out to prepare an estimate for this recently purchased fixer-upper. After a thorough inspection, we gave our best price for replacing the ductwork, the HVAC, and the water heater. We took the time to explain what our estimate includes. The client appreciated the extra time.
The client had us come out to do regular maintenance on their HVAC system. We did a thorough inspection including changing the filters, cleaning around the units, checking the thermostat, etc. A regularly maintained unit lasts longer and saves on energy bills. It is always a pleasure giving service to our loyal customers.
The client had us come out to repair their furnace. It had not had routine maintenance for some time, and we found dirty filters, a clogged condensate drain, and other minor issues that can become major when a unit is not maintained regularly. We resolved the problems and recommended scheduling regular tune-ups every 6 months.
This client was concerned about indoor air quality or IAQ, so they took advantage of our Air Quality testing promo. Of course, changing your filters regularly is essential, but there are more modern ways to eliminate allergens, mold, and viruses to improve your family's overall health. We sat down with them and showed them the benefits and costs of various systems. They were happy with our expertise.
We were called out to perform regular maintenance on the furnace and water heater. Our clients know that tune-ups can save you money on energy bills and unpleasant surprise repairs during freezing weather. We performed a thorough inspection and tune-up. Our clients count on us to keep them comfortable all year long.
The client contacted us about a big difference in temperatures in the various rooms of the home. Upon inspection, we found several issues such as closed vents and dampers, leaks due to ducts that are not sealed properly or poorly insulated, and older windows in some rooms. We made a list of recommendations and gave an estimate of the work to be done.
