Drove out and met the entire family. The daughter just purchased the condo. There was a miscommunication with the customer. They do not have any boiler or furnace. Their home is completely electric baseboard heat. The father showed me pictures from the home inspection report, that the electrical wiring is compromised (the old cloth sheathing). Not good! We could not consider replacing the thermostats as the liability would be to great. I apologize to the customer for the miscommunication and referred them to seek out a electrician for the repairs. They understood and were very happy with my candor. They will keep us in mind for any future needs.
