Met with Maria and proceeded to troubleshoot the no heat call for a Navien condensing boiler. Removed the igniter and found it to be very dirty. I cleaned off the debris, decay, rust and reinstalled it. Next I removed the fresh air intake and found a nest of stink bugs blocking it. Cleaned it off and reinstalled it. I restored power to the unit and observed it trying to stay lit and run to no avail. I suspect an issue with the gas valve. I called Navien to assist in the diagnoses. I began to feel sick, noxious and suspect a gas leak. I performed a leak test and confirmed a bad gas valve. I called the supply house and placed an order for a gas valve to be overnighted. 2nd service requested; I performed a plumbing inspection throughout the home and found all fixtures, faucets, valves, drains and supply lines to be in excellent condition. No concerns at this time. Home was recently renovated.
