Boiler PTU service: Met with Curtis, whom showed me to the oil fired boiler in the basement. Tested and shut off the firematic valve to the oil tank canister. Replaced the canister filter. Opened up the fuel pump to inspect and replace the pump strainer. No replacement needed as it was immaculate. Opened up the burner and removed the gun assembly. Checked and inspected the nozzle and electrodes settings. All are dialed in to factory specs. Inspected the cad cell and igniter both are in excellent condition. Reassembled and closed up the burner assembly. Reconnected the oil line. Started up the boiler, bled the oil line and checked for leaks. Observed the unit run for a cycle and all is good. Customer has had the boiler and oil tank replaced last year, they are all in excellent shape. No issues at this time. Reviewed estimates with Customer. Customer not interested at this time.
