I installed a new Goodman GSX14 air conditioner in a residential home. After mounting the condenser outside and connecting it to the existing ductwork, I installed a matching evaporator coil inside. I wired the system to a digital thermostat for improved control and energy savings. After charging the system with R-454B refrigerant, I tested airflow and checked temperature differential to ensure the unit was cooling properly. I also inspected the ductwork for leaks and adjusted airflow for even distribution throughout the home.
