Matt was very personable with excellent communication skills. He talked easily with me and others in my home. He also demonstrated several things I asked about including how to remove the April Aire filter. I took a video as he showed me how. Heat Pump Repair: Tackling a heat pump with insufficient heating, I identified and repaired a refrigerant line leak. This comprehensive fix restored the heat pump's optimal heating performance.
Maintenance on hvac system. Water panel did not need changed in humidifier. Surge protection and Reme halo still in good working order.
Package unit was not coming on. Found transformer had power to it but was not send 24v. Tested contactor. Tested bad which fried the transformer. Replaced both parts and installed a surge protector. Tested equipment. Came on and operated as it should. Confirmed operation.
Completed blower and secondary heat exchanger cleaning. Installed plasma air. Tested equipment after cleaning. Pressures are now normal. 18 degree temp drop. Confirmed operation.
Performed heating and cooling check on both systems. Found no issues. Everything is operating as it should be. Changed filter. Hosed off outdoor units. Confirmed operation.
Customer said ac was freezing up. Furnace is Goodman 11 years old not installed by us. Ac is heil just installed by us yesterday. Found poor air flow due to plugged off blower and secondary heat exchanger. Until these problems are fixed we cannot know whether the ac is working properly or not. Left 2 quotes to fix this. Customer will call in later to let us know what they would like to do. Also found drain to ac was unhooked. Fixed drain.
Added three pounds of refrigerant to the heat pump system. System is cooling with a 19 degree delta T. Capacitor tests good and filters are fine.
Came out to a 23 year old carrier unit, does have 410 and is running well for its age. Didn’t see or have any issues showing right now but recommending surge protection.
Did heating and cooling checks, everything checked out well. Didn’t find anything that needed addressed. Cleaned out the condenser coil, capacitor checked out good, refrigerant showed good pressures. Recommended surge protection mostly for outdoor unit since it’s out of warranty and a plasma giving the customer buy 1 get 1 50% off deal till the end of the month.
Customer said heat was getting stuck on and hadn’t tried the ac. Just bought the house. Turned heat on and off several times. Operating as it should. Thermostat is cheap and needs upgraded. Customer does not currently have ac. Recommended getting a heat pump for ac and operating cost is cheaper than only having electric heat strips.
Original compressor was not available. New compressor does not match refrigerant piping and retrofit kit does not line up properly. Did not have proper material today to get compressor field installed. Customer was not available next two days. We are coming back Thursday to finish compressor .
2013 York split system using AA313 filter. Replaced filter, all other checks good at this time. Customer is on Cozy Plus Monthly Plan
6 yr old York ac has a compressor failure. Ordering new one with capacitor. Parts and labor is covered with warranty, the refrigerant is not.
