Upon arrival unit was off. Customer said he had turned off the breakers to the unit. I opened unit and found a little bit of ice in the coil. I turned on system and refrigerant wasn’t passing thru the txv starting to ice again. I tapped the txv a couple of times and the txv opened. I let system running for 30 mins making sure it’s running correctly and not freezing up again. I checked pressures and pressures are good. I informed customer if this happens again we will have to replace txv.
