Customer called us out because they were hearing a weird hissing sound coming from the air handler. Upon investigation, Troy found that the motor was not spinning and that there was ice buildup out of the condenser. Upon investigation, Troy found that the motor had blown on the unit. After trying a variety of configurations with the wires and trying to figure out if it was a blown defrost board it turns out that when we put the leads from the blower motor directly to the contactor that the motor failed. Put in for a factory motor replacement under warranty as the unit is only two years old
