Customer called us out because the air conditioner was not keeping up with the temperature that was set by the thermostat. Upon investigation, Troy found that there was a lot of ice buildup on the compressor pipe and also going into the inside with the coil. Upon further investigation, Troy found that there was enough voltage going between the contact switches and the transformers and that the motor was getting a signal to turn on. Motor would turn on and then immediately turn off. It would turn on again and then immediately power back down, so that leads us to believe the motor is shot. Quoted customer out on a new motor he accepted and told him we would install based on availability of parts when that all comes through.
