I was called to a home to diagnose and repair a cooling issue. Upon arrival, I found that the system was not cooling due to a malfunctioning mitigation control board. I inspected the unit and found that the blower fan or outside unit was not kicking on. After further diagnosis, I discovered that there was a past sensor communication error. I reset the mitigation board and the system kicked on without throwing any codes. The customer reported that she was not getting air upstairs, so I checked the attic and found that the damper was closed and not allowing air in. I opened the damper and the system was getting plenty of air. I also added 4 pounds of 454b to get the system where it needed to be.
