I arrived at the customer's home to find that the air conditioner was not cooling and the thermostat was off. Upon further inspection, I discovered that the float switch was full of water. I informed the customer that we would need to perform a drain treatment to resolve the issue. The customer declined to pay for the drain treatment, stating that she had a maintenance appointment scheduled with us the following day. Instead, she decided to perform the maintenance herself. I did not flush the drain, but I did dry out the float switch with a rag.
