I was dispatched to a home service call for a customer who reported that their air conditioner was not cooling. Upon arrival, I went ahead and ran the thermostat wire. I ran straight from the air handler unit to the condenser unit. The unit came back on, and the customer was happy. I will wait until Monday to see if the customer has to flip the breaker again. The customer said she couldn't wait a week because she was leaving town.
