I completed a diagnostic. On my arrival I found filter completely plugged, blower is very labored on start up. I checked capacitor and it is weak, this part needs to be replaced, but this wouldn’t be low enough to be causing the noise from the blower. Suspect the blower motor will fail soon. Furnace is in poor overall condition, burners and heat exchanger are rusting severely. Blower wheel is dirty. Spoke with customer about my findings and provided her with a replacement estimate. Wants to hold off on doing anything for now, she recently had a home warranty that lapsed and she is going to try to get this reinstated so when the motor does fail it will be covered.
