Damage to walls and cracked stair on porch

First, they installed the unit and it did not work upstairs. They returned and re did the job and it is much better. They did a good job re installing the copper line and the air duct. They damaged the wall with the ladder the first visit. Hit the wall going down the stairWay and again leaving the house on the wood door frame. I saw the ladder hitting the door frame. The damage from the interior stairway had to be filled with putty but I couldn’t get a paint match and it is noticeable. Also, a stair on the porch was cracked as the person was very big and must have stepped on the edge of the wood stair. I have to get that stair replaced by a contractor. Today, there were three locations going up the stairway that were damaged. I asked them to be careful before the work started upstairs. Apparently It was hit with the sheet rock board. Two locations on the walls had to be filled with putty and several scratches up high on the wall. There were no scratches or damage when I moved into this house. They replaced the sheet rock where they cut into the wall but now it has to be painted and finished. I expect that to be done without additional cost. One last point. I offered them to use the bathroom and it had to be cleaned. The first time they were here there was urine on the floor that I had to clean. Upstairs smelled in the bathroom. The crew was polite and worked hard, but I was disappointed in all the damage that was caused to my home. I would suggest that they be careful, slow down, and no damage would have occurred. I had heavy pieces of furniture delivered and they did not leave any scratches or damage on my walls. I am talking about 300 pound cabinet that was brought upstairs and queen size bed frames. So this should have been avoided. I would have lifted it myself if I knew there would be damage.

Repaired two broken ducts in attic- main 10” trunk feeling upstairs. The 10” KD running from garage and up into attic is partially crushed and blocked at attic, we’ll need to cut a 2x6 out of the way at the top in order to better attach to the pipe-should we decide to keep the 10”KD into a 12” flex. There is already a little better airflow to upstairs with the ducts temporary repaired. Installed gable fan in attic, added dedicated plug for the fan next to the attic light switch. Moved light base in garage out from above the ductwork. Added a 12” damper into supply line coming off the end of the plenum in the garage, tuned that damper down. We need to re-run the lineset in the garage, probably the high voltage for the AC, too. The bubble wrap on the ductwork in garage is coming off, we may want to replace with FSK wrap and re-do the straps holing it up. We might also want to consider adjusting the 10” line we ran up from plenum in garage, it rises at an angle for some

Recommend doing zone system to control upstairs and downstairs separately. Supply Plenum reorganize the 3 ducts on supply plenum Add dampers and do complete duct work with proper wyes and enlarge trunk line.
