Fast and Professional

I called and they had an appointment the same day. They also were able to schedule in the next day. Brad showed up was extremely friendly and very comprehensive in his review. He went over all of the options and was very straightforward. He did not hide anything and showed me pictures of everything he was recommending to be fixed and everything that had an issue that a prior company had missed.

Fantastic Service, Better price.

Chris came out for a routine checkup, when I mentioned the ac sometimes takes two times to actually turn on. He found the capacitor for the compressor was bad, fixed it, and everything works great. He even deducted the service call from the repair to save us some money. Extremely satisfied with the experience.

Homeowner had a concern with outdoor fan possibly rubbing or hitting against system. Checked outdoor fan and cycled system on and off to ensure proper operation. System ran with no issues, also did not find any debris inside system or fan. Informed homeowner that due to storm we had last week, possibly a twig or branch may have flown into system causing noise issue. Informed homeowner to give us a call if problem still persists.

Removed and dispose of old outdoor unit. Replaced new Bosch Heatpump and new filter drier. Test system operation and all checks are within spec with 31 degrees temperature split. Customer stated that it taking long to heat the home, explained that a heatpump will take a little longer than a gas furnace. Sidekick maintenance will be due in late March, will inspect system again until then. Filter been replaced this year, should be due again March of 2022.

Upon diagnostic found possible metering device issue with Bosch system, also found system was slightly overcharged as well, recovered 1 pound of refrigerant and tested system. System is still having same issue when running in heating mode, but in cooling mode system runs OK. Could not confirm diagnosis due to technical support being off today due to holiday. Will keep original schedule date tomorrow and contact technical support to continue diagnosis. Also adjusted living room damper and back room dampers, homeowner will let us know if dampers need more Justine when we return. System is operating at this time.

Performed sidekick maintenances on a Bosch Heatpump system. Washed filter, washed outdoor coil, and cleared drain lines. Temperature difference for heating was 25 degrees, cooling was 15 degrees. No usual noise occur during inspection, advised homeowner to record noises if reoccur, noises may coming from defrost operation which is normal. System maintenance is competed.

Furnace is 34 yrs old. Dedicated horizontal carrier furnace. 32 yr old carrier condenser. Confirmed failed heat exchanger. Blower motor is leaking oil. Emergency drain pan is rusted. Ductwork is grey flex. Some runs are starting to come apart. Recommend replacing hvac due to age, operating condition/safety concerns, efficiency and r22 phaseout. Quoted system replacement options.

Upon arrival system operational. Home was at desired temperature of 77°. System would cycle near max temperature. Temp rise 63° (45-75°). Some build up on evaporator coil. Client stated issue would typically only happen early in the morning. And blower would run for extended period of time blowing cold air. Could not replicate issue at this time. Call back if issue continues.

Diagnostic call for no heat. Homeowners are saying when they turn the system on in the morning when it is very cold outside that it works fine for a while then starts to blow cool air. I explained to them how a heat pump works since no one had explained it to them before and how the system will usually go into defrost mode when it is very cold outside. Adjusted settings on thermostat due to system not having heat strips. Per Christopher’s authorization I informed homeowner that if they still feel it’s a problem now that they know how it works and if they feel the house is getting too cold during the defrost cycle To call back in for us to come back and install heat strips to make sure they are comfortable and happy. System is operational and heating at this time
