Upon arrival main concern was air flow not being balanced Went into the attic and found that the system has old R4 ducts and are inefficiently routed. Using a buetler zone box. Air distribution needs a redesign for proper fix. Gave multiple options to homeowner. Will follow up in a few days.

Performed heating maintenance on a Lennox furnace. Replaced filter. All checks are within manufacturers spec and system is operating properly.
Replace existing gas furnace and evaporative coil with a Lennox Two Stage Variable Speed gas furnace and ADP Coil. Replace all supply air ducts upstairs with R-8 Silver-Jacketed duct including new registers and balancing dampers. Enlarge workout room and second bedroom ducts to 8†and 14†X 6†ceiling registers. Add one additional 10†Return Air to a 14†X 24†High Flow Grill. Replace existing 14†X 25†return grill with a High Flow Grill. Add. Remove 1,200 Sq. Ft. Of insulation upstairs, air seal the top plate and skylight and knee wall and re-insulate with 1,200 Sq. Ft. of R-60 Borate Cellulose insulation. Deep bury new ductwork. Insulate skylight and knee wall with foam board insulation. Remove existing Whole House Fan and rough patch hole with sheet Rock. Install Carbon Clean 16 filter on the downstairs system. Performed a heat tuneup on a York furnace. Checked heat operations, all components, and safeties. Found hot surface igniter reading high resistance. System operations ok at this time.

Replace shower cartridge in upstairs bathroom. Tested by turning water back on and seeing no drips or leaks.
Performed a diagnostic a heat pump system. Found a bad thermostat not sending power to outdoor unit. Also noticed burnt 1 pole contactor, weak blower capacitor, motor leaking oil, blower wheel out of balance, and 14†return duct deteriorating and hitting on the whole house fan blade. Homeowner will talk to his girlfriend to decide what to do and call us back.
Performed sidekick maintenance on 2 year old Lennox gas/electric split system located in attic/ground. Everything is within specs on both sides. Homeowners dog chewed up a small piece of foam insulation around lineset at condenser. Didn’t have any foam insulation so I wrapped it with cork tape for now. System is operational and heating and cooling at this time. Homeowners did not get a visit last year so this is their first visit. Will have 1 more visit after today per Matt Bridges.
Replaced both Inducer assembly and Primary Circuit Board. Cycled system and it works Inducer Assembly Amps are 2.7A Max, Actual 1.83A
Perform diagnostic for Lennox split system. Thermostat was still displaying an error code of 276. Ran system at maximum heat rate and system ran with no issues and code did not pop up . Recommend changing pressure switch and control board, homeowner approved repair under warranty. Replaced pressure switch and control board and tested system operations. System ran with no issues. Informed homeowner to give us a call back if problem or error code still process.
Performed heater tune up. System is 33 years old, Heil furnace. Temp rise and gas pressures are within specs. Blower wheel needs cleaning. Performed hydro scan on heat exchanger. Found 5 breaches. 1 breach in left exchanger and 2 each on the middle and right exchanger. Located in the back where the bends are. Also found 2 screws on face plate of heat exchanger striped and not screwed in. Rust all around face plate and inside heat exchanger as well. Highly recommend not using heater. Recommend: Replace unit due to breached heat exchanger.
