I arrived for a warranty call on a system we recently installed a evaporator coil on. I found the system to be half way frozen up and leaking condensation off of the bottom half of the coil box. We had to add extra refrigerant on the last visit to get the suction temp up far enough to keep the system from freezing up. The issue is the plenum under the system is set half way off from where the evaporator coil is. The wall to the left of the system is half way over the plenum and the system was installed half way off of the plenum in the ground. The slab of the floor is blocking about half of the space that the air needs to love so the system is not restricted for air movement. This is basically blocking the air flow and causing the system to drop in suction pressure and freeze up. This can also be the read why the first compressor failed when we installed the new condenser. I had to remove the TXV and install a piston to keep the suction pressure from dropping and freezing up.
