Jake Kring. 10-22-04. I arrived for a new customer no cool call on a mini split. I spoke with the homeowner and found that he had a mini split newly installed by other people/company and the system is not cooling properly. We explained the diagnostic fee and we decided to go ahead and check the system to see if the system is low on refrigerant or if there is a different issue. We inspected the outdoor system and found the system to be low on refrigerant. We also inspected the line set in the attic and found no signs of any issues with the line set. I informed the homeowner of the leak search cost and the cost per pound of refrigerant and we decided to not do anything with the system at this time.
