Also while you’re out we would like you to check the pressures, during the middle of the summer the system doesn’t seem to cool the room very well. We primarily use that room to workout in. We keep the thermostat at 78 the. Adjust it down when we’re ready to use the room. We’ve tried to adjust it down an hour or so before we use it, but it won’t come down. Inspected the air handler and thermostat. Found float switch failed open and is not allowing system on. With permission I replaced the float switch then cycled equipment into all stages. 10kw Heat strips reading 21a heat pump pressure are good, capacitors and contactors all within manufacture specs. Discussed findings with homeowners. We decided to take a look at the systems cooling in the summer. System is heating properly at this time.
