19FEB2025 Jason Brown Arrived for non club no heat. Spoke with homeowner about the systems performance. They explained they heard a thump and then the system just stopped working. They tested the thermostats operation already by cycling the AC. OG&E were just out for the weatherization program. I inspected the furnace located in the garage. Found error code displaying open limit. Ohmd out limits one at a time and found the flue high limit tripped. Checked over the rest of the furnace before resetting the limit and cycling heat. Immediately noticed the fan is out of balance and has a lot of off axis torque causing considerable vibrations at the furnace. Checked inducer motor found it pulling 2.06 amps with a max of 1.86 I also noticed the flue is connected improperly. Verified no monoxide in home then discussed findings with homeowner. Explained the multiple issues and likely cause of the limit. Discussed repairs for the inducer motor and explained that with the condition of the system
