Austin 2-6-25 Completed the furnace tuneup. After going through the system functions to make sure it was working correctly I did discover that the capacitor for the blower motor was out of range. If only by a little it was a 20 MFD capacitor that red plus or -6% which would come out to 21.2 mfd and the blower motor capacitor was reading, 21.5 MFD thankfully it wasn’t reading way over but still over enough to be considered by the manufacturer of the equipment and capacitor to be a failure so I did bring it up to the homeowner since we don’t come outbut two times a year with six months in between there’s no telling how much worse that capacitor could get or even what it could do to the blower motor itself if it continues to get worse and I explain that to Ricky, the homeowner and he decided to leave it be, and we will take a look at it on our next tuneup and see how it’s going however, if it fails in the system stops working in between that time, I did inform him that there would be a s
