Came out to call for a system not cooling properly. Customer stated that he took a look at the unit and he believes the contactor is the problem, wasn’t making good connection. I checked the system over and found that bugs had gotten into the points of contact and caused a disruption of power. I was able to clear the bugs, but the contactor is questionable as it still seems like the points of contact are a little damaged. Customer wanted to go ahead and replace it. System is only 2 years old, so I warrantied the contactor and replaced it. Unit is now cooling properly again.
