Completed dryer vent cleaning for customer. Arrived to job site and spoke with customer, customer has had dryer for about 10 years and never had it cleaned and was interested in getting it cleaned today. After explaining what to expect from a dryer vent cleaning, I answered any additional questions that they had For me. I then went up into attic space, and gave them a proper inspection. Took apart the 4 inch piping and attic space and saw that there was not a lot of lint trapped inside the piping, so I went up on the roof where the Hood was, and there was a lot of trapped condensed lint. After confirming where the issue was, I was given the go ahead to start the cleaning process. Once confirmed, I went up onto the roof and hand picked all the dried condensed lint on the hood and made sure that the lid for the hood was able to close up and down (it was stuck open when I first saw it).
