Came out to call for an AC that was blown over by high winds during a tornado. Customer stated that the unit had fell over and the line was twisted. I checked the system over and found the unit to have minor damage overall, the unit just needs 6 inches of line set taken out and replaced. 11-15-24 Came back out to fix line set. Pumped down systems refrigerant into condenser and removed the existing damaged piece of line set. Made sure system was level and back in place. Cut and installed a new piece 3/4 copper. Brazed copper, pressure tested and pulled vacuum to 500 microns. Opened lines back up and ran system to check amps, temperatures and pressures of AC. Pressures are reading normal and there isn’t any internal issues with the system at this time. Discussed with customer about units performance and let him know the system is back to be operational and can be used like normal.
