Jake Kring. I arrived for a new customer no heat call. Spoke with the homeowner and he showed me and explained that the thermostat will say it’s heating but the system will not run. I inspected the system and found the flame sensor to be dirty and pitting and the duel pressure switch to be stuck closed. I got the pressure switch to work at this time and checked all gas pressures electrical readings static pressures temperature rise and cleanliness. We found the system to be running properly well at this time with a good static pressure under 0.50 IWC and the gas pressures to be well within range. We decided to go ahead and order the duel pressure switch and flame sensor at this time and come back to install it and pay for the parts at that time. We will be reaching out to the homeowners once we have the parts on hand.
