07FEB2025 Jason Brown Arrived for silver club fall tune up service. Spoke with homeowner about the systems performance. They explained that it’s working well, however the thermostat is displaying low batt even after replacing the batteries. We inspected the thermostat, found that it’s been hardwired and that batteries are not required. Removed batteries and reset thermostat. Low battery is persistent. After discussing options, homeowner explained that they are happy knowing it’s not going to turn off on them, and are not interested in doing anything else about it. Moved to the attic and inspected the equipment. Disconnect power. Remove all doors. Pull blower and inspect heat exchangers. Inspect evap and drains. Clean flame sensor then check HSI and safeties. Cycle heating and measure amps on inducer, and blower. Inspect blower wheel for balance and dirt. Reassemble equipment and cycle heating. Checked over ductwork connects/ flue, and drains. System is heating properly at this time. Sy
