Jake Kring. 10-28-24. I arrived for a previous customer no cool call. I spoke with the homeowner and found that the system will run sometime and shut off at other times. I first cycle the system on at the thermostat and found that the indoor system to come on and run correctly. I then inspected the outdoor system and found the condenser fan motor to be running but the compressor was pulling LRA amps. I turned power off to the condenser and found the capacitor to have failed. I informed the homeowner of failed part and the additional cost. We decided to replace the part at this time. I replaced the capacitor and checked the systems operation and found the system to come on and run but the system was running at a high superheat. I showed the homeowner the information and recommended to look farther into the refrigerant charge and she did not want to due to her moving out soon. I left the system in operating condition but the system is not running properly and as efficiently as it could b
