Came out to call for a condensate leak issue. Customer stated that the system was cooling, but they were having water come through their light fixture. I checked the system over and found the unit had a slow leak coming from the drain pan. Primary drain was backed up and the float switch wasn’t shutting the system off. Discussed with customer about repairs needed. I cleared the condensation line of a clog. Replaced the float switch the a new one and serviced the ac system. Washed condenser coil thoroughly and checked amps, temperatures and pressures of AC. System is older and I advised customer that break downs and issues may occur more often and that she should plan for replacement of the system. Unit is coil properly and there is no more leaking.
