11/19/2024 JeremiahF Arrived on site and went over scope of today’s service. Recovered existing refrigerant and uninstalled existing equipment. Old equipment was larger so I plated off the gap on the return base and sealed with mastic. Installed new equipment. Installed duct board transition between evaporator coil and supply plenum and sealed with metal tape and mastic. Sealed furnace to base and furnace to coil with silicone. Transition is also sealed with mastic from the inside. Installed new thermostat. Reconnected flue, gas and all electrical connections. Pressure checked system at 225 psi and passed pressure check. Pulled vacuum down to 220 microns and passed vacuum decay. Released refrigerant. Outdoor ambient temp too low to verify charge. Cycled system through heat and cooling and set gas pressure. System is operating properly at this time. Will need to return to verify charge on system at next tune up.
