04DEC2024 Jason Brown Arrived for warranty no heat on Samsung windfree system. Spoke with homeowner about the systems performance. It’s displaying CF almost every month, I spoke to a friend who has the same system and he hasn’t cleaned his filter in a year. We’ve had trouble with it cooling, and when we switched it to heating it went into errors C4 and C16. Inspected system removed panels and checked voltage and DC communication. Inspected outdoor unit for refrigerant leaks. Reset power to system and cycled heating. Compressor comes on at 2.4a runs for ~15 min before bringing the indoor unit on. The system heats for a couple minutes then shuts back down. I suspect the error has to do with the internal pump but will need to confirm with tech support. Discussed findings and scheduled a return visit for Friday December 6th with an 8-10 arrival time. Buttoned up system and cleaned work areas. Thanks guys I’ll see you Friday!
