07FEB2025 Jason Brown Arrived for red club fall tune up. Spoke with homeowner about the systems performance. They explained that the system is working well and showed me to the thermostat and furnace. Adjusted stat up then inspected the system. Pulled all panels and verified heat exchanger and evap are clean. Cleaned flame sensor and tested HSI and all caps. Cycled equipment on and checked inducer and blower amps. Tested through all safeties and set gas pressures. Inspected ductwork connections and plenums. Found insulation failing and looking to be in very poor condition. Spoke with homeowner about my findings, we decided to go ahead and replace the supply plenum. Scheduled repairs for Monday morning. System is heating properly at this time.
