At first the tech said I needed to have freon added for $149. and also cost of a diagnosis call, $89.99. I told him I had already a diagnosis call and nothing was indicated as being needed and his office had said that there would be no charge for the diagnosis. I told him I would think on the freon. Brandon called back and said he went ahead and added nine oz. of freon and wouldn't charge for the diagnosis call. There was no charge for the service. That restored my faith in Interstate and the owners, Kai and Jamie.

Arrived for warranty call on recent flip. Homeowners had taken a register down to paint and couldn’t re attach it. Explained how the registers and boots are installed. Reattached the register. Everything is working great! Thanks guys, great to meet y’all!
Estimate to cut in two 12x12 filtered returns for the front bedrooms with 8” ducts being ran to the main return box in the hallway outside the bedrooms.
Ductwork Installation - 15NOV2022 Jason B Arrived for previously discussed ductwork. Spoke with homeowner about the job. You guys were out here to wrap my ductwork, but they ran out of insulation. We just need it finished. Inspected crawl space. Found ~16’ of 8” and 6” left to be insulated. Cut insulation to length wrapped ductwork. Taped up seams. In about a 4’ section both 8 and 6 are wrapped together, I was unable to get the insulation between the two. Cleaned up scraps and tape backing.
Red club fall tune up on 2019 80% gas furnace. Included complimentary dryer vent cleaning in lieu of duct cleaning. Tenant declined dryer vent cleaning as dryer has not worked for a while. Homeowner was okay with not doing the cleaning. Checked evap coil, blower and heat exchanger from above. Checked and cleaned flame sensor, inducer and flue. Changed 14x25 filter. Cycled system on and checked gas pressure, replacing caps, checked heat rise, and amps on electrical components. System working we at this time!
Arrived at the customers house to preform silver club maintenance, was greeted by the customer and was shown where the furnace and thermostat were located. Customer has not ran the heat this year so this maintenance was the first time heat had been fired this season. While preforming the maintenance I checked all aspects of the heating system. Checked blower and induce draft motor for proper voltage, amps, and operation. Also checked gas valve and pressure, cleaned flame sensor, igniter for proper operation and ohms. Checked all safeties and pressure switch. Checked evaporator coil to make sure it was clean. Also checked temperatures and did a carbon monoxide check. During maintenance I discovered the blower motor run capacitor (20mfd) was out of tolerance and recommended to the customer to replace, and with the customer’s permission I went ahead and replaced the run cap with a new 20 mfd capacitor. After replacing the run capacitor the system is running great and no further repairs
I arrived for a warranty no heat call from a system we removed the furnace and replaced the evaporator coil and cond And reinstalled the furnace. I inspected the system and found the pressure tube leading from the induced draft motor to the pressure switch to have come loose and preventing the furnace from cycling on. I reconnected the tube and cycled the furnace on at the system and from the thermostat and found the system to come on and run properly. I found some debris in the furnace blower compartment and the homeowner got his vacuum and I cleaned blower compartment out as well as the top of the water heater and furnace and floor of the utility closet. This system is running properly at this time.
Came out to double check AC operation and made sure condenser coil was cleaned thoroughly. Customer stated that they have enjoyed how the system works thus far and are pleased with the installation. This is an estimate to flip existing downflow system in closet, into a horizontal system in the attic. We will replace the furnace and the evaporator coil in closet but reuse the outside 2.5 ton condenser. Customer can choose to replace AC at a later date to 3 ton if wanting to. 28SEP2022 Jason B Jeremiah V arrived for 3 system silver summer tune up. Spoke with staff about the systems performance, everything has been working fine since the last repairs. Cycled systems at stats. Inspected blower cabinets, motors, capacitors, electrical connections and components. Inspected pressures, compressors fans, and all electrical connections at the AC. Found both pack in blowers over amping north 5.5/5.2 south 6.0/5.2 found capacitor for inducer motor on north system reading 2.5/3 and out of manufacture specifications. (+/-6%) found fan capacitor on north system completely failed system is running on 1 fan currently. coils clean, condenser coils damaged but clean and working. Overall pack units are cooling, recommend replacing bad capacitors. Inspected split system blower motor, cabinet, and coil. all clean no signs of oil leaks or failing insulation. Inspected cap, compressor, fan, and contactor. All working properly. Washed all condensers and changed all filters. Wen
Came out to call for a system not cooling. Customer stated that a fuse had gone out on the AC system and customer was wondering what caused it. I replaced both 30 amp fuses and rechecked the system. Found no issues electrically or with how the system is running. Mentioned that we’ve had quite a few calls on fuses and believe they are going bad prematurely. Told him that we’d cover this call under 1st year warranty. Gave quote on adding piggy back returns in the two front bedrooms.
Came out to give estimate for flipping existing system or keeping it and cleaning the duct work. Due to condition of downflow unit and ductwork, I recommended flipping system to attic using a new furnace and evaporator coil.
Full system heating and air conditioning tune up for silver club member with 80% 2014 Carrier split system. Spoke with homeowner and they have had no issues since we tuned up system last September. AC tune up. Washed condenser thoroughly, removing side panels and replacing them properly. Affixed loose condenser fan motor wiring. Checked dual capacitor, contactor and electrical load. Checked Evaporator coil, drain line, replaced fresh customer supplied filters and Cycled system in cooling. Tested refrigerant charge, amps and temperature split. Furnace tune up, checked blower, heat exchangers from above and below and cleaned flame sensor. Cycled system in heating and checked order of operation. Checked surge protector, measured heat rise, gas pressure, replacing caps and amps. Checked CO levels. The system is performing great in manufacturer specs at this time. The outside condenser fan motor is rated to run at 1.2 amps and is currently reading 1.1. This is still in range, but may

Checked blower motor amp draws, blower wheel, blower motor capacitor coma inducer motor, cleaned flame sensor, replaced filter, checked gas pressure, checked gas valve, checked safeties, performed carbon monoxide test, checked gas line and flu. System is operating correctly at this time.
Came out to give estimate for a new 4 ton AC unit. After doing an initial inspection, I found that the customer doesn’t need a bigger unit. System is a 3 ton unit and was installed this year. Unit is sufficient for home, but the air supply and duct layout is the main issue. The supply plenum and some ductwork is needed. Recommended replacing the supply plenum with a larger one, adding a return in the second living area, strapping up all ductwork, adding a 6” duct on to sunroom, and putting dampers on all the ductwork to balance it out.
28AUG2022 Jason B Arrived for no cool. Spoke with Jim about the issue. We were out to fix a condensate leak, sometime after that it stopped cooling. inspected pack unit, call for coil, but no compressor or fans running. Inspected compressors found high limit switch tripped. Reset system everything cycled. Before I could look at anything else it began to ran. We will have to schedule another appointment to finish diagnostic. 31AUG2022 Jason B Arrived for follow up on no cool. Found condenser fan motor on right side spinning backwards and overheating. Upon further inspection found run capacitor out. Replaced capacitor and cycled system. Head pressure dropped back to normal and system is now cooling properly.
