Well the last tech said we needed a new thermostat, first is quoted me the full price, then he quoted me just the labor. I didn’t receive the cover letter to his visit and the check list is confusing. Everything is grey. And finally. in the invoice he stated that he didn’t check the condenser, but he wanted to sell me a capacitor. Started with this system. Cycled cooling at the thermostat. Checked AC and drain lines. Drains are clear no water in the float switch. Inspected AC, verified system operation. Cycled heating at the thermostat. Heating kicks on just fine. Cycled system through all stages a couple more times. Had office resend invoice cover letter and photographed notes with about not inspecting the condenser. Discussed thermostat operation with owner and tenant. We decided to turn off the programming and try running the system without it. Left fridge magnet
