Jake Kring, Alano M. 06-14-2024. I arrived for a previous customer no cool call. We first spoke with the homeowner and found that the mini split in the garage is not cooling as it should be. He showed us where the system is and we inspected the system with the approval of the diagnostic fee. Once we cleaned the system and filters we found the system to be running low on refrigerant. I explained the leak search cost and the cost of refrigerant per pound. We decided to preform a minor leak search at this time. We disassembled the system and found the flair fittings to be leaking. I tightened the fittings and informed the homeowner of the issue. I explained that there is no warranty on the refrigerant if we add refrigerant at this time without preforming a leak search and repair. We then decided to add one pound of R410A to the system to get the system running. Once the refrigerant charge was corrected we found the delta T to drop from 6 deg to 24.3 deg quickly. The system is running well
