Came out to call for a system not cooling properly. Customer stated that the thermostat shows the AC should be on, but nothing is happening. I checked the system over and found the unit not operating due to a bad condensate pump. It was taking the 24 volts offline. Discussed with customer about repair needed. Customer approved new pump. I took out the old pump and showed customer it’s condition. Installed the new condensate pump in place and ran drain to it. Wired the drain pump back into the system and tested the pump and the unit. System is now operating normally. Discussed with customer about maintenance needed on system. Customer will look into having it done.
