Tech found low voltage miswired with Y in the same wire nut as R directly from transformer which energized outdoor unit in cooling all the time. Unit locked out on low pressure when thermostat satisfied. Tech rewired float switch to break Y instead of R, verified thermostat settings, and recorded amp draws and refrigerant pressures. Cycled system in heating mode and cooling mode. All components shut off correctly when thermostat was satisfied. Left tstat on 78 like it was at arrival and locked up front door and roof hatch. No charge. Install warranty.
