Excellent Service, Highly recommend

Running approximately 20 minutes late. Office called and informed me that was case. Josh was very pleasant and explained service call and answered my questions. He also assisted me in turning a water filter that I was not strong enough to turn. He went above what was required and really was an example of good service.

Great service Courteous repair person.

I realized issue with AC late in evening, Called next morning for service, and repairman was at house by 2pm. I was called prior to arrival so I knew when to expect the service person. Service person was courteous, answered all my questions, and had repair completed in approximately an hour. Great service.

Excellent Service

Arrived on time. Explained everything in detail. Wore shoe covers inside. Offered to assist me in bringing a very large box inside that had been delivered. I appreciate this courteous gesture so much. Mr Thomas was courteous throughout service call.

Excellent Service and Awesome technician!

Luis was very professional and very good at explaining the service he was providing. He let us know what he was doing and checking every step of the way and let us know the different options we could take when he was done. We will definitely be using Jackson & Sons again for any future HVAC service and maintenance. Luis went above and beyond and made this a great experience!

Grease trap is full and needs to be pumped out. I recommended they get someone with a water jet to rod the line if it’s needed after tank is pumped out.

Upon arrival homeowner stated system not cooling. Tech found failed capacitor, tech replaced capacitor and ran system. System was running in heat when it was calling for cool. After further inspection tech found failed thermostat as well. Tech replaced thermostat and capacitor, system is back and up cooling and homeowners also invested in MPA.

Tech performed ESA, tech was unable to duplicate any thermostats issues, tech found no issues with system operation at this time. Customer provided her own filter. System is back on and operating properly at this time.

Tech returned to complete approved repairs. Tech replaced condenser fan motor on HP Cond #11 due to existing motor over amping. Upon arrival tech found unit had tripped and motor was extremely hot. Tech replaced motor and reset breaker and checked amps. System is back up and operating within specifications. Tech also replaced weak run capacitor on HP Cond #12. System is operating within specifications at this time. Tech replaced blower motor capacitor on AHU #16. System is operating within specifications at this time. Tech has attached pictures of repairs to invoice.

Performed CMA Full Service on 17 split systems. #1 Technician found the system to be cooling properly upon arrival. No challenges present at the time of maintenance. System is cooling properly and holding a 20 degree delta t. Tech recommends EZ trap and primary safety switch. #2 System is functioning properly at the time of maintenance. Delta t observed was 19 on the day of service. Only recommendations are to install an EZ trap and primary safety switch. #3 No issues were found at the time of preventative maintenance. System is cooling well. Temperature change over was within spec on the day of maintenance. Recommendation for this system is an EZ trap to help prevent condensate build up in the air handler. #4 Technician found the system to be cooling properly at the time of service. No challenges arose while servicing the system. Tech recommends adding a EZ trap to the system. #5 No issues present at the time of maintenance. System is cooling properly and holding a delta t of 20

Tech found high subcooling, high superheat and low suction R22 with a TXV. This indicates a TXV that is restricted or lost its charge. Tech also found evaporator coil leaking and starting to freeze. Tech also found schraders have no caps. Tech recommends replacing unit due to age, refrigerant type and cost of repair. Customer has a home warranty company, still wants field supervisor to visit, Mike is handling this.

Customer reported system freezing up and also outdoor unit not running sometimes. Tech found indoor coil clogged with lint and dirt and distributors coming off of indoor coil header slick and oily. At outdoor unit, tech found suction pressure very low and superheat very high. Tech estimates system is 2-4 lbs low on R410a. Tech also saw thermostat wire is falling apart due to UV sunlight damage and 45/5 dual run capacitor is reading weak at 37uf on HERM side. All the insulation under house is fallen and bellyband is missing. Ductwork is mobile home sheet aluminum duct and is unsealed and uninsulated due to missing/torn bellyband. There is a cat in crawlspace moving around. To repair existing system, mobile home contractor should replace bellyband and floor insulation. On split system, we would need to braze leak spot, recharge with 5 lbs of R410a, replace 45/5uf capacitor, replace 2 feet of thermostat wire at outdoor unit, and do full tune up to clean coils, blower, and drain. Upon arrival tech found VP8000 thermostat presenting an alert for bad sensor that was preventing it from turning the unit on. Tech replaced with new VP8000 under full 2 year warranty. System is back operational at this time.
