Luis was very professional and very good at explaining the service he was providing. He let us know what he was doing and checking every step of the way and let us know the different options we could take when he was done. DAVID AND AUDONEL REPLACED A CARRIER PACKAGED HEAT PUMP
Tech preformed CMA FULL SERVICE on 17 split systems. System number 3 is down due to compressor being shorted to ground. Unit is only 4 years old and compressor falls under warranty. Tech built estimate for warranty compressor and has attached to invoice. System 10 only operates in heat mode, unit does not switch over to cool mode unless manually jumped at board. Recommend demand tech to further diagnosis challenge. System 11 tech found a damaged and unsafe disconnect for the air handler. Tech contacted Ben Pait with luminant and was given approval to replace over the phone. Tech replaced disconnect and continued service of unit. All other systems are operating at this time. Tech has attached performance reports and estimates for any minor repairs needed.
During maintenance tech found corroded indoor coil leaking refrigerant. System is 16 years old. Tech completed maintenance on system. Field supervisor came out to verify findings and discuss solution with homeowner.
Tech found the supply lines were leaking having holes from mice and main truck line is metal duct not sealed cc came and left proposal
Tech found multiple alerts on eco bee stating aux heat running to long last alert was coolant issue unit ran for 4 hour only gone up 3 degrees tech inspected unit and found the common wire to one side of contactor was disconnected tech reconnected wire and tested system found delta t within specs unit is operating correct at this time …… do not get out if German Sheppard is out he not a people dog
Tech did not find any issues with duct work tech did find unit supply is a plenum box with 2 flex supply lines going out each side and room is last on on the line of air flow tech did check unit found indoor coil rusty tech also checked delta t and found lower then normal once tech checked refrigerant pressure tech did find unit was slightly low on refrigerant tech did educate customer on refrigerant levels and informed them on unit might need to be added refrigerant if that’s the case there is a leak homeowner is military and is likely to relocate so they decided to wait till summer to see how unit functions customer did invest in mpa
Performed ESA. Tech replaced weak dual run capacitor with turbo universal capacitor and installed uv light after homeowners approval.
DALTON AND AUDONEL REPLACED A GOODMAN SPLIT HEAT PUMP

Tech reset compressor breaker during a cooling call and a loud buzzing was heard from the compressor, pressures did not move and lock rotor amps exceeded the limit specs. System is dirty, informed costumer about our ESA program. Tech diagnosed a locked compressor, tech checked compressor windings and for them to be on the Bad Mark, compressor has failed and locked. Mortex Split System is R22 refrigerant, 10+ years of age, Tech requested a field supervisor to provide homeowner with a solution, Scheduled to be here at noon. Heat pump is down as of now. Collected house call fee only by cash.
