Tech preformed CMA INSPECTION on 5 Gas Package Units. Upon arrival tech was told Gas Pack #2 was not operating. Upon inspection compressors were shutdown due to internal overload. Tech also found condenser fan not operating. Tech shut system off to let system cool down. Once system cooled down tech restored power and compressors and fan started to operate. Tech checked pressures and Delta T and found system was within specifications. Tech believes Condenser Fan Motor became too hot because of weak capacitor and stopped operating, which inturn caused compressor to overheat and shutdown. Tech has provided estimate for replacing condenser fan motor and capacitor, but Due to age of system, condition of system and current challenges, Tech does recommend replacing System. Office will contact customer with proposal of replacing. System is currently operating but will overheat and shutdown again.
