I appreciate the AC service provided for my older mother. After further analysis, I felt robbed and unappreciated as a customer by your company. I contacted your company after a local company failed to show. I was disappointed with the time it took to arrive on yesterday (told it would be mid-morning), the lack of respect for my time that led to my being late for work, disappointment with the additional charge requested to search for a leak that was thought to exist ($318), not going into the attic to check the split AC system, charging $106 per lb. for R410A, when the average cost is $65 lb. and a final charge of $554 just to add refrigerate to a small AC unit. It feels like your company took advantage of a senior citizen with this extreme charge. This is very sad...I will make sure to share our experience with other potential customers, the BBB and the AG's office.

Upon arrival tech found Goodman system in right building reading 77 degrees inside but set to 73 degrees. Initially checked filters and found both filters extremely dirty restricting air flow. Replace with new 2- 20x20x1 pleated filters and checked Delta T at 18.3. Indoor temperature began dropping after replacing filters. Inspected indoor system and coil was not frozen. Upon departure indoor temperature had gotten to 73 and cut off. Tech recommends they check filters weekly or every other week due to just having new ones installed a month ago and were already extremely dirty to avoid issues. Tech was informed by worker that system was frozen up but they cut it off before we came, which was due to filters. System is back operational at this time.

On arrival, for left building Carrier R22 split system, customer reported no airflow out of vents. Tech noticed outdoor fan running, but not compressor. Compressor is very hot to the touch. Tech confirmed overheated compressor. Shut off outdoor disconnect and inspected AHU. Tech found 5 speed X13 ECM blower motor rocking back and forth, but not starting. Tech confirmed line and low voltage to blower. Tried all 5 speed taps. Blower will not run. Per service history, we have found indoor coil to be leaking R22 refrigerant in the past. Tech got pics of evaporator coil. Ran leak detector over coil and confirmed it leaking R22. Without blower running, tech is unable to check R22 charge on system. System is 18 years old. Due to age, condition, and cost of repairs, tech recommends upgrading system instead of replacing blower and indoor coil. Passed mandatory onyo Gina to get customer repair vs replace price. Data tag is missing from outdoor unit. Monica checked on R22 indoor coil. Coil no lo
Tech found system not cooling due to a failed 1/4 HP 825 rpm fan motor. Tech quoted pricing to replace fan motor. Customer has a home warranty. He called them for reimbursement. Customer will pay for repair directly and approved repair. Tech replaced fan motor and tested. System is back cooling. During testing, tech also found 10uf blower capacitor reading weak at 6 uf. Customer also approved blower capacitor and 1 system MSA maintenance. First visit in 6 months.
Upon arrival tech was informed sometimes the system would blow air through vents and sometimes it would stop, reseting break would temporarily get it back running. Tech found blower motor slowly running and surging faster then slow back down. Tech tried changing to different speed taps but would still do the same thing. Homeowner approved replacement of 1/2hp blower motor. Installed new motor with 10mfd capacitor and relay in system. Also installed supplied thermostat. System is back operational
Tech preformed CMA FULL SERVICE on 2 Heat Pump Split Systems. Both systems are operating at this time, but have a previous diagnosis of leak in Evaporator coils. Both Systems are 20 plus years old and require R22 refrigerant. Split System for Right Building also has a compressor that is testing in caution area of megohm test. This indicates compressor is in early stages of failure. Tech recommends replacing Systems over repair due to age and current systems using R22, which has been phased out. Tech will have office contact customer with pricing. Tech has attached SYSTEM PERFORMANCE REPORTS to invoice along with pictures.
Customer insisted on getting quote from another company that neighbor reffered to her. She thought she called them initially but was us.
