Tech found SS2 float switch tripped due to a new clogged drain. Tech also tested pressures to verify system is not freezing. Customer wants to clear drain himself.
Tech found coil partially frozen and water leaking under drain pan. Customer has already been quoted secondary pan replacement. Tech recommended replacing trap with an EZ trap and insulating trap. Tech performed a leak search and found king valve leaking through the fitting. Fitting was loose. Tech quoted tightening fitting, fully backseating and putting teflon over threads and recharging. Tech performed recommended repairs and system is cooling, but tech does not recommend running system until secondary pan is replaced.Tech thoroughly searched coils and joints with no leaks.

Tech found system very low on R410a refrigerant. Tech also found 40/5uf dual capacitor reading very low at 33.8uf. Heat strip sequencer was documented to be stuck closed last time we were here. We replaced evaporator coil in 2023 and compressor in 2021. Reversing valve looks like it has been replaced before as well. Inspected system. Found oily residue on and around suction line king valve. Used ultrasonic detector to confirm king valve is leaking. Swept the other field brazed joints and found none of them leaking. Used soap bubbles and confirmed king valve leaking out of the top threaded cap. Tech tightened cap as tight as possible and soaped again. Did not find any more soap bubbles. Tech found 10uf blower capacitor reading weak at 8.2uf. Tested heat strip sequencer due to recent history of it sticking. It stuck closed on the first call for heat strip. Tapped on sequencer and it opened. Tech unplugged 5kw heat strip until sequencer is replaced. Tech leak searched recently repl
Re-set toilet due to wax ring being missing from the toilet. Replaced fill valve in the toilet and cleared the drain in the customer's tub.
-Performed CMA Full Service on 14 Split System Heat Pumps and 3 Package Heat Pumps. Performed inspection of kitchen oven hood exhaust and make up air units. -100 & 400 wings had a service call for heating in March 2024. Demand tech states systems were operating but air flow was imbalanced. Systems were recommended for reconfiguring air flow at supply dampers to achieve proper temperature balance. Updated estimate provided by demand tech for minor repair -System 2: Outdoor fan motor capacitor tested weak and was recommended for replacement prior. Defrost control board was found faulty and recommended for replacement at prior inspection. -System 7: Outdoor fan capacitor tests at threshold for operating range. Recommend replacement of capacitor. -System 8: Observed no operation of condenser when jumped from air handler. Confirmed continuity through both
Tech from drain was black and dripped into aux pan tech found 2B cracks in plastic aux pan. Tech cleared drain line build up did come out tech informed customer on findings on aux pan and quoted out aux pan replacement customer approved minor repair from tech to clear cualk the cracks tech did inform customer clear cualk is temporary and they will need to make decisions to replace aux pan.
Johnbuck169@gmail.com Found the compressor locked up, Tech did attempt to free up the locked the compressor but was unsuccessful. Tech found the dual run capacitor oversized on the herm, compressor required a 45mfd capacitor and the system currently has a 55mfd. Duct work is old may be sized incorrectly, costumer did state the system was replaced a few years ago, current system is oversized. Short cycling the system causes damages to the system. System is down as of now, mr. John would like a system replacement quote and also get duct work sized properly, duct work is still the original. Collected over the phone.

Tech recommended ez trap and overflow switch for main drain pan and auxiliary drain. Homeowner will think about it. Homeowner was interested in dryer vent cleaning.
