Customer stated that AC was not blowing cold air. Diagnosed and replaced bad dual capacitor. Cycled system in cooling and measured delta-T. Everything is operating normally at this time. Advised customer that due to the age and condition of the system that I highly recommend planning for replacement. Customer to call Beckman for payment over the phone.
Customer stated he had a water leak. Cycled system upon arrival and found a clogged drain line. Cleared drain line. Cycled system in cool and everything is in working operations right now.
Customer stated that AC was not cooling properly. Found low refrigerant charge. Discussed zoning options and ductwork booster fans for upstairs bedroom experiencing poor airflow. Balanced refrigerant charge as per customer. Measured temp drop and superheat. System is operating normally at this time.
Customer stated that AC was not cooling. I cycled system in cooling, found compressor not running. Diagnosed and replaced bad capacitor. Performed summer maintenance at customer request. Tested t-stat operations, cycled system in cooling, checked refrigerant charge, superheat and delta-T, tested and inspected all electrical components and blower motor assembly. Checked filter which does not need changed at this time. Cleaned condenser coil and drain line. Everything is operating within specifications at this time.
Found system locked out due to consecutive trips on the high limit removed filter and inspected noted filter was clogged replaced with a new filter cycled furnace noted that damper was still closed on the humidifier and corrected this as well. All operations are normal at this time.
Diagnosed bad HSI; voltage to ignitor during ignition sequence with no response from ignitor and heavy buildup visible on filament. Replaced HSI and cycled system in heat. Everything is operating normally at this time.
Found system low on charge customer elected to balance system with r22 after reviewing their options. Balanced system with r22 and cycled ac noted that compressor is showing signs of wear and informed customer to be prepared to replace the ac in the near future operations are normal at this time.
Preformed summer maintenance checked all safety devices customer signed up for club membership 2 ac units 1 furnace payed for filters 16 by 25 aprilair. I need to return here at the end of today to put filter in did not have one on truck systems working with in specifications at this time
Found system frozen up due to being low on charge thawed ice off of evaporator coil cycled system installed stop leak and recharged system with 5lbs of R-22 all operations are ok at this time
Arrived at customers house low on air flow found zoning sensor closed had to manually be opened everything working within specifications all operations ok at this time.
Customer stated first floor ac had frozen and there are balancing issues on second floor ac found unit 1 slightly low on charge with service caps off of the unit balanced system and added new caps under warranty as this occurred at last service. Tested and inspected all electrical components and controls cuecked charge on unit 2 rinsed and cleaned ac coils which were clogged and rechecked amp draw and confirmed proper operation of both units customer did not want a maintenance contract at this time.

Performed clean and check on gas furnace found inducer assembly with multiple cracks this must be replaced or repaired checked with trane and found that no replacement parts are available for this furnace. Tested and inspected all electrical components and controls found ignitor near failure with an ohm reading of 96.4. Also noted a minor leak near bottom of draft assembly leading toward the secondary heat exchanger this may be from the vent pipe or a seal behind the collector plate which if removed would have to be replaced. Tested humidifier which is operational. Performed combustion analysis which was normal. Furnace is operating at this time.
Performed real estate inspection of ac and furnace checked a.c. refrigerant performed a combustion analysis on the gas furnace found drain pipe on furnace clogged which I corrected tested and inspected all electrical components and controls and confirmed units were in code. All operations are normal at this time. Brushed dirt and debris out of condensor coil and wiped down furnace insured blower wheel was clean.
Found unit frozen up, thawed unit out, found unit to be low on refrigerant, balanced system with 3 pounds of R410A, cycled unit, all operations ok at this time.
