I provided a diagnostic service call on a unit that was not running efficiently. Upon arrival I discovered that the blower relay board is shortened and is causing the heat to come out of the vent. I unhooked the blower wires and hot wired the blower motor so the air would temporary work. There was a few more costly things wrong with the unit at this time so I went over options with the customer and at this time he had decided to go ahead and replace the unit.
