I completed diagnostics and found just the fan was operational, no operation from compressor. I found a burnt terminal on the compressor side of capacitor. It needs repaired. I checked the dual capacitor and its not within spec. I quoted repair. There is no operation from compressor but system does have refrigerant I was not able to make contact with landlord, the tenant was not able to either. Tenant authorized repair and was performed. Everything was operational when leaving.

Upon arrival the customer stated the condenser fan stops and unit makes a loud squealing sound. The condenser fan motor has failed. I explained repair/ replacement options. The customer needs to discuss with wife and will get back to tech.
Upon arrival I replaced the blower motor and capacitor. After replacing the motor with a new one during operation the sheet metal was louder than normal. I added iso pads under blower motor. I then found the system is low on charge. I went over repair/ replacement options. The customer is replacing the system Wednesday
I arrived to perform a diagnostic on an air conditioner. Upon inspection, I found system off on arrival. Blower motor will not operate with call, makes a humming noise. Cap is out of range, blower still would not operate with new cap. I explained repair/ replace options and offered after hours option for repair, customer opted for repair. System is not operational at this time.
I completed diagnostic and confirmed the compressor is shorted to ground. I explained repair/ replacement options. The customer opted to replace the AC. I did not charge for call per it being a second opinion and customer replacing system.
I completed diagnostics and found that when the unit received the call for cooling unit just hummed but no operation. I checked the dual capacitor rated for 35/5 mfds, actual reading 0/0 mfds. I need to make repair to further troubleshoot. I quoted the repair and it was authorized and performed. AC is now operational. The pressures are good. The system was fully operational when leaving.
I arrived on site to perform a diagnostic for the customer. However, it was soon revealed that they had an Aquatherm system and that we do not work on those units.
I arrived on site to perform a diagnostic on a Bryant air conditioning unit. During the diagnostic I found that the unit's R-22 Refrigerant lines had a leak. I found the leak and inserted an easy seal leak sealant and refilled the unit with R-22 refrigerant. The unit was running at full functionality at the time of departure.
I completed diagnostics and found the was covered in cotton wood. I cleaned the system and it fully operational and running very well. I explained to homeowner yesterday was very hot and explained the unit was operational above its design temperature rating. Everything was operational when leaving
I completed diagnostics and verified that the filter was clean. The 40/5 capacitor failed and I replaced the part with customers the permission. I cleaned condenser coil. The system is cooling and operational with in manufacturing specifications at this time.
