Replaced transformer on indoor unit found there was a wire on the outdoor unit bare touching the unit. Once covered with electrical tape and 5amp fuse in place system began operating. Heat pump was operating properly at this time the outdoor fan shows signs of ware but is still within manufacture specifications. Informed customer of system and how with age components will begin to fail. At this time system is operating properly.
