During my inspection today, I found two things I wanted to bring to the customers attention. First item being is that the drain line for the furnace needs to be rerouted by itself because it is blowing out water because it’s connected to the main drain line for the unit. I gave the customer the option for this, but she did declined at this time stating that she didn’t have to talk to her husband. In the meantime, I took the cap off of the drain line for the air conditioning coil. This is allowing the air to escape there instead of blowing out through the trap for the furnace. The customer is aware that they will have to place that Back on for the cooling mode if they decide not to go with the repairs. I also found that the 45/5 capacitor for the outdoor unit is also bad. I am giving the customer the option to do this, but she gave me the same reasoning why she will not be going with us at this time as the prior.
